The beautiful state of Colorado is home to two outstanding physician assistant programs. The University of Colorado PA school is located at the newly renovated Anschutz medical campus in Aurora, Colorado. The primary focus of the PA program is on pediatrics, primary care and underserved population. Red Rocks Community College, located in Arvada Colorado, values healthcare experience and the students are highly regarded in the medical community. Tuition can vary quite substantially for both schools depending on your state citizenship status. Many prospective students will move to the state 1 to 2 years prior to matriculation in order to avoid paying out of state cost and establish citizenship.
